Joan Walsh
Joan brings the highest level of integrity and enthusiasm to her profession. As a former teacher, she is an experienced listener with a high level of compassion, which allows Joan to connect well with clients. Her goal is to make your real estate transaction a pleasurable experience.
Joan retired from teaching after 25 years of service in the Massachusetts Public Schools. She experienced teaching grades K-8, in both regular and special needs settings. She also supervised student teachers at Simmons College.
Joan is a writer for children, and leads the SCBWI writing group in West Falmouth. She enjoys reading, writing, kayaking, biking, walking, and the performing arts.
Joan raised her twin sons in Natick, MA. She has lived in Grafton, Ashland, and Hopkinton before moving to West Falmouth.
Joan earned a BA degree in Early Childhood Education from Anna Maria College and Nazareth College. She also earned a MA degree in Special Education, from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
