Curt Jessup
Mr. Jessup has been actively involved in Real Estate for over 22 years. He is a former Senior Vice President / Regional Director for JMB Realty Corporation, an international real estate investment company responsible for such landmark developments throughout the United States as: Copley Place in Boston, MA, City Place in Hartford, CT, 900 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, IL, and 1999 Avenue of The Stars in Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Jessup became a principal and partner in JMB and in 1996 sold the company to Heitman Financial Services. JMB’s primary focus was investment of pension funds, property management and real estate development. Mr. Jessup’s responsibilities included purchases and sales of assets, leasing, and insuring that our investment partners were well informed with regard to financial performance of real estate portfolios.
Since 1996 Mr. Jessup has been involved in property sales/lease negotiations with a total dollar value in excess of 800 million dollars. Two of the largest transactions were: the 200,000 square foot lease with Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles at Copley Place with total value in excess of 38 million dollars and the sale of 116 Huntington Ave. located in Boston’s Back Bay for 32 million dollars. In both transactions Mr. Jessup represented the property owner. Mr. Jessup has represented such entities as First National Bank of Chicago, Dai Ichi Kangyo Bank, Barclay’s Bank of England, Wells Fargo Bank, The State of Massachusetts Pension Fund, North Western Mutual Life, John Hancock Financial Services, Kenneth Cole, Tiffany’s and Nieman Marcus. More recently Mr. Jessup has focused on high net worth individual representation, sale of businesses, commercial property and luxury real estate.
